100% Certified Organic Wheat Seed and Custom Soil Mixture

Grow your own wheat grass for ALL you pets

Grows in 7-10 days

Pet Grass® and Pet Greens® provide organic vitamins and minerals and a natural aid to digestion for dogs. With a high chlorophyll content, our grass also can actually improve bad doggy breath.

If Pet Grass (or Pet Greens) is new to your dog, start by clipping a small amount and mixing it with his or her food. Most dogs enjoy grazing from the container.

Grass provides the vitamins, minerals, and live enzymes found in whole, raw foods that dogs don’t get in their high-protein, carnivorous diet. To get greens, your dog may be tempted to eat lawn grass, which may have been treated with chemical fertilizers and pesticides. A safer, healthier solution is a container of fresh, nutritious, 100% organic Pet Grass or Pet Greens.
Growing your own Pet Greens at home is fun and helps you keep an ongoing supply of live grass in your home.

It’s so easy! Pet Greens grow right out of the package they come in or in any small pot, so you can get started on a fun growing project right away.

Pet Greens have all the nutritious benefits of our live Pet Grass. As soon as the Pet Greens are one inch or taller, you can feed them to your pet. Pet Greens grow up to 7 inches tall, and with proper care may last for weeks!

Growing Instructions:

  1. Before opening, turn the package upside down and punch 10 holes in the bottom of the package with a large nail or pen.
  2. Turn the package upright, spread the bottom of the bag, and shake the soil to the bottom.
  3. Tear the tab to open the package at the top.
  4. Take out the bag of seed and set it aside.
  5. Cut open the Pet Greens package along the dotted cutting line.
  6. Open the seed bag and spread seeds over the entire surface area of the soil.
  7. Push the seeds 1/4 inch into the soil.
  8. Place the package on a saucer or tray and add water until both the soil and seed are evenly moist throughout entire package (about 1 cup of water).
  9. Set the package and saucer in a warm, shaded area for sprouting. Make sure the seeds stay moist.
 10. Check daily for growth. After about 3 days, the seeds usually will have sprouted.
 11. As soon as you see the seeds have sprouted, move the package to a well-lit, ventilated area, and follow the instructions in Caring for Your Pet Grass.
 12. When the grass is one inch or taller, start feeding it to your pet.

Note:It is important that the seeds do not dry out! Water the seeds or sprouts daily, or whenever the product looks dry.
